903 are the species of birds that can be seen all over the Costa Rican territory and more than 340 can be found around the Arenal Volcano area. That is why, for bird watching lovers, this is a privileged place to visit and discover.

Certified guides with ample knowledge on the subject and with specialized equipment for observation will guide you through trails near the volcano to identify toucans, parrots, oropendolas, tanagers, to mention only a few. And for people with ample knowledge, we can also mention more exotic and difficult to identify such as: royal flycatcher, white-fronted nun bird, cinnamon woodpecker among others.

Usually the sunrise is breathtaking from the west side of the Volcano, therefore, resides seeing birds, you will also enjoy the great panoramic views.
