Starting high in the mountainous area of the river, this high-thrill adventure combines exhilarating rapids, deep holes, and big splashes with a few calmer sections to catch your breath and take in the natural beauty that surrounds you. With professional gear, expert river guides and the support of a safety kayaker, you will be well protected as you take on what may be the thrill of a lifetime. This is not for the faint of heart!
Our “paparazzi” photographers will be around to capture the action of your trip, and we will stop along the riverbanks to enjoy some fresh tropical fruit.
Afterwards we will enjoy an amazing traditional Costa Rican lunch, in addition to learning about some of the most important crops to Costa Rica like sugar cane, fruits, cocoa, and medicinal plants. You will even get to try your hand at juicing a sugar cane the old-fashioned way and enjoying a glass of fresh-squeezed pure sugar cane juice. A sweet way to end the day!
