Class II-III Whitewater Rafting

Class II-III Whitewater Rafting

This fun mix of 11 km (7 mi.) of whitewater thrills and calmer areas that allow for swimming and cliff-jumping is great for families and beginners. The forests that surround this section of the Balsa River are home to many species of wildlife like sloths, howler monkeys, iguanas, and tons of tropical birds. But this is no Safari Float! Be prepared to get completely wet as you splash though the twists and dips that will have you laughing and screaming – all at once! Our specialist river guides will make sure to add to your excitement and to keep you safe.

Our “paparazzi” photographers will be around to capture the action of your trip, and we will stop along the riverbanks to enjoy some fresh tropical fruit.

Afterwards we will enjoy an amazing organic farm lunch, in addition to learning about some of the most important crops to Costa Rica like sugar canes, fruits, cocoa, and medicinal plants. You will even get to try your hand at juicing a sugar cane the old-fashioned way and enjoying a glass of fresh-squeezed pure sugar cane juice. A sweet way to end the day!
