This easy hike has been specially designed to provide access for everyone to the amazing Arenal Volcano, its history, and the most incredible views of the mighty colossal. We will walk for 1 hour, deep into the rainforests of the Arenal Volcano National Park, and through areas that were devastated by the volcano’s fury in 1968.
Along the way, it is possible to observe a large variety of flora and fauna, in addition to interesting areas like the large accumulations of solidified lava flows expulsed from the crater of the volcano during its most active period.
If the cloud cover permits, from the observation point we will treasure incredible views of the Volcano, the Arenal Lake, and the Tilaran mountain range. This is the ideal place to enjoy the wonders of nature and take spectacular panoramic pictures. After a little time in this magical area, we will walk the remaining 45 minutes of the trail, back to the van, ready to return us to the hotel.
